As a graphic designer, one of the many things I’m often asked is
"How on earth did you get started with all this?” For as long as I can remember, I've loved making things look pretty. So to answer that, it seems fairly fitting that I chose a career that celebrates that very quality.

Tryst with Design is my chance to give back to the creative community, to share my musings and hopefully elicit, in you, an interest towards this grossly misunderstood industry.

Amid a pandemic that has brought the world to its knees, we’re now faced with a global crisis and an upsetting decline in the consumption of a loved beverage that, sadly, shares its name with the bad guys. Could we have stopped such a tragedy from occurring? Maybe. But...

My desire to consume non-fiction has always been driven by the need to learn more about the world we’re in. However, I always wondered if authors were being truly candid in their descriptions of the environment. Each time I picked up a book, I judged it, not by the cov...

My career graph began with tallying balance sheets and after giving 2 years to Debit-Credit, I realized the only things I should be crunching are my abs. Cut to 4 years later, I found myself graduating from Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune with a degree in Fashion Communication. So how does a major in Fashion land you a career in Graphic Design? Well, that's a question I've been asking myself all this while.

I'm sure you have a bunch of questions.

A tryst is defined as a romantic rendezvous between lovers. I think my equation with design is pretty much the same. What started out as a serendipitous encounter, slowly flourished into a beautiful union. And as we all know, the best love stories are the ones that begin unexpectedly.

Fortunately or unfortunately for design, its success lies in its invisibility. Thus, it is very often misunderstood for being frivolous. Maybe it's time someone broke those misconceptions and TWD is my shot at that. Hope you enjoy reading just as much as I enjoyed creating!

If you still have a few queries or any feedback to share, I'm all ears. And if the feedback's positive, I'm even more interested.
Do get in touch! I'm always up for a good conversation.
